New Jersey Devils, American professional ice hockey team based in Newark, New Jersey. The Devils play in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Hockey League. The franchise found little success until the 1990s, when it established itself as one of the NHL’s most dominant teams, winning three Stanley Cup victories in less than 10 years. However, it wasn’t always like hat for the Devils. They never looked back since after 1998, missing the playoffs just three times over the next seasons. What is worth mentioning is New Jersey has already retired three jerseys and will have a fourth on the way once Martin Brodeur finally hangs it up in its short history.
